Dura-Tech® Velvet Hunt Cap
Some classes still call for a velvet hunt cap, and this is the one: soft black velvet over a low, rounded crown with a short brim, a grosgrain bow at the back and a satin lining, so the line above a show coat stays clean in hunter, equitation and in-hand classes. It is a piece of turnout, not a helmet: it is not ASTM certified and gives no impact protection, so ride in a certified helmet and wear this where the class asks for it. Sizes 6⅝ to 7½, for heads from 20½ to 24 inches; measure above the ears and eyebrows and, between sizes, go up.
