A Korsteel® Full Cheek Waterford Bit has many smooth flexible bumps, which can act as pressure points. The great flexibility will discourage the horse from leaning on it. The Waterford bit is used mainly for strong going horses. Most commonly used in hunt seat activities, but is not permitted in dressage. The cheeks add lateral control.
