5″ mouth, 3″ rings
This bit is excellent for young horses that get heavy or lean on the bit because it will lighten them up and bring them back off the bit. The sweet iron mouth is intended to rust, which actually imparts a sweet taste to cause the horse to salivate. A moist mouth is soft and supple to the rider.
